I had to make some very special designs for Makumura. They released an Special Edition inspired by famous and mainstream TV series and movie franchises.
Designs had to be very simple but with a touch of humor. Attractive designs for the fans which were easily recognizable by non fans too... in case they wanted to buy them as a gift ;)
They should have text and image on one side and all of them had to share the same color palette, with a maximum of ten Pantones.
I made a lot of sketches...
After a test with potential buyers, these are the results:
